Leadership, Professional and Business Skills for Students
Success in the real world takes more than academic knowledge. Successful adults have the confidence to rise above their circumstances. They get along with others, take responsibility, and handle problems and decisions when they arise. They express themselves well. When students discover their own self-worth and approach life ready to achieve, the opportunities are endless.
The Flippen Teen Leadership course focuses on these critical, life-changing skills for grades 6-12. Our teaching certification qualifies an instructor to deliver both of the Teen Leadership course versions- middle school and high school. Schools can offer these courses in semester or full-year formats.

| Approach: This interactive training fully prepares instructors to teach Teen Leadership. Participants learn course principles and how to use the Leader’s Guide, including sequencing, grading, and modeling lessons. As an added value, our support staff is available to answer any questions that may come up when you're back in your classroom.
Who: Because a strong, trusting connection with students is essential, the choice of a Course Leader for Teen Leadership is crucially important. The teacher must have attended Capturing Kids’ Hearts. We will be happy to help you identify the right individual(s) for this high-impact role.
When: This is a one-day learning experience. Open-enrollment sessions are available throughout the year. We can also certify up to 50 teachers in a client-booked session.
Where: Certification training takes place at locations we have found to be conducive to learning. Client-booked sessions can be scheduled at a convenient off-site location.
Other attendance considerations: Capturing Kids’ Hearts is a prerequisite for the Teen Leadership Certification.
